About The Opportunity Our client is looking for a Senior Associate to join their team in downtown Toronto! This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys complex work, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, strategic legal solutions. You will work alongside experienced professionals on sophisticated construction matters while continuing to expand your advocacy, analytical, and leadership skills. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage and support a broad range of construction dispute matters from strategy through resolution Lead and assist with construction lien and trust claims, delay and deficiency disputes, and contract disputes Advise on and advance matters under the Construction Act, including prompt-payment and adjudication proceedings Contribute to litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution proceedings Take independent carriage of files with appropriate autonomy Collaborate with lawyers across multiple practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters About You The successful candidate will have the following: Minimum 3+ years of construction litigation or dispute resolution experience Working knowledge of the Construction Act (liens, holdbacks, trust claims, prompt payment and adjudication) an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Sound professional judgment and attention to detail A collaborative, team-oriented approach Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work Interest in ongoing professional growth and development About the Job Hybrid role located (3 days) in Downtown Toronto, ON Competitive salary competitive with the bay street market for 3- year calls How to Apply Please apply by clicking the "Apply Now" button below and follow the instructions to submit your résumé.
