About The Opportunity Our client is looking for a Associate to join their corporate team in downtown Toronto! This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys sophisticated transactional work, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, strategic legal solutions. You will work alongside experienced professionals on complex deals while continuing to expand your drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills. Duties include but are not limited to: Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset transactions and corporate reorganizations Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, ancillary transaction documents, and closing materials Manage and coordinate due diligence and help identify and resolve key transactional issues Advise on general corporate/commercial and corporate governance matters Take ownership of workstreams and closings with appropriate autonomy Collaborate with lawyers across multiple practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters About You The successful candidate will have the following: 2- 6 years of corporate/M&A experience Strong drafting and negotiation abilities Sound professional judgment and attention to detail A collaborative, team-oriented approach Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work Interest in ongoing professional growth and development About the Job Hybrid 3 days located in Downtown Toronto, ON Competitive salary starting at bay street salary bands for 2- 6 years How to Apply Please apply by clicking the "Apply Now" button below and follow the instructions to submit your résumé.
