Senior Quality Analyst, Manufacturing - Permanent - 19293 About The Opportunity Our client, a well-established Canadian precision manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to join its Quality team. This role is ideal for a quality professional with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys balancing hands-on production support with quality analysis, customer interaction, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting demanding customer quality requirements while positioning themselves for future leadership opportunities within the organization. Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards Perform inspections, testing, and measurement of manufactured components using electronic inspection equipment and precision measuring tools Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics and statistical process control data Prepare non conformance reports and investigate quality issues Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and cosmetic standards Support customer specific quality programs, including automotive quality reporting requirements Participate in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action activities Assist with ISO quality management system compliance and internal and external audits Prepare customer quality reports and participate in customer meetings Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality personnel Support Quality Inspectors on the production floor as operational requirements dictate Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation About You The successful candidate will have the following: High school diploma required. Post secondary education in Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is considered an asset Approximately five years of progressive experience in a Quality Analyst or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and statistical process control Experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T Experience preparing quality documentation, customer reports, and non conformance reports Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Experience using electronic inspection equipment and precision measuring instruments Automotive manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Aerospace manufacturing experience is also considered an asset Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Demonstrated leadership experience Willingness to work both in an office environment and on the manufacturing floor About the Job Position: Permanent, Full Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Salary: $54,080.00 to $56,160.00 Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental benefits, vision care, paid vacation, paid sick days, casual dress, and on-site parking Location: Ottawa, Ontario Work Environment: Fully onsite LROGOV How To Apply Please apply by clicking the “Apply Now” button below and follow the instructions to submit your résumé.
