What You’ll Be Doing Take this opportunity to join a great company as a Reliability Software Test Engineer. We are seeking a motivated and talented Test Engineer to work closely with R&D teams (optical, electronic, and software) to develop software for testing the reliability of new product platforms. Responsibilities will include: Develop software to automate testing in the lab Support technicians in the reliability lab Build and maintain test set for modules and circuit pack testing Investigate and debug failures Manage and report large amount of data What We’re Looking For Education: BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Experience: The ideal candidate will have: 2-5 years’ experience in developing software for instrument control, either in a research or manufacturing role. Skills: Experience with Automated Test System using VB.NET, C or C# Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment with excellent communication skill; Experience in any of the following is an asset: Knowledge of optical components and systems; Experience with SQL and web app development; Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test and measurement equipment. The Reliability Test Engineer will develop software to automate testing in the lab and support R&D teams with new product platforms. Responsibilities include building test sets, investigating failures, and managing large amounts of test data.

Candidates must hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Applicants should have 2-5 years of experience in instrument control software development and proficiency in VB.NET, C, or C#.
