Overview Lutron is seeking an experienced Residential Sales Supervisor to join our team in the Greater Toronto area. In this role, you will lead the growth of Lutron’s luxury residential business in a B2B environment. You will drive demand by building strong relationships with key influencers—including residential architects, interior designers, custom builders, and developers—while partnering closely with our dealer network to convert opportunities into successful projects. Success in this position requires the ability to inspire and influence decision-makers across the high-end residential construction market, positioning Lutron as the premier, full-solution provider for intelligent lighting and control systems. Expanding markets and developing new customer relationships are critical to Lutron’s continued success. The sales territory for this role includes Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Niagara Region, Hamilton, Halton, Brant, Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, London, Windsor, York Region, Durham Region, Bruce County, Grey County, Simcoe County, the Kawarthas, Muskoka, Parry Sound, Sudbury, and the broader Southwest Ontario market. Responsibilities Drive year-over-year growth of Lutron residential system sales, consistently achieving or exceeding territory targets Influence and specify Lutron solutions with key industry stakeholders, including residential architects, interior designers, lighting designers, custom builders, and developers Develop, expand, and manage a high-performing network of qualified dealers and installation partnersIdentify customer needs and project opportunities, and position Lutron solutions to deliver measurable value Create and execute strategic territory plans to generate new business while growing share within existing accounts Build deep expertise in Lutron’s luxury residential portfolio, serving as a trusted subject matter expert on products, applications, go-to-market strategies, and total lighting solutions Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities and anticipate customer needs Deliver engaging training sessions— including CEU-accredited presentations—on Lutron solutions, product innovations, and industry trends to influencers and partners Qualifications Secondary school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 5 years sales experience required; previous experience with A+D a plus Experience training and/or public speaking preferred Salesforce, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint experience preferred Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required Please note that a core duty of this position is that occasional overnight travel to Lutron's Global Headquarters (in the US, once a quarter) or for training (up to 25%) is required This is a home-based position requiring travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Southwest Ontario, Northeast and Northwest Ontario, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Windsor regions. Candidates must reside in the Toronto metro area or GTA and be able to travel regularly within the assigned territories Starting pay: 105,000 CAD/yr to 115,000 CAD/yr plus bonus.
