Freelance Graphic Designer

Lyapunov is an innovative R&D studio dedicated to developing health sciences and intelligent rehabilitation solutions. We translate advanced biomechanical research into practical medical devices and healthcare technologies that improve patients' lives. We are looking for a creative Freelance Graphic Designer for a one-time project to design our official company logo and brand identity. While the design can be flexible, we preferably look for a designer based in Thunder Bay, ON, as we hope to meet in person for initial briefings and discussions. Key Tasks: 1. Logo & Concept Design: Design a professional company logo based on our company's vision, and philosophy. 2. Deliverables: Deliver production-ready, scalable vector files in various formats. 3. Copyright Transfer: A full transfer of copyright ownership of the final design to the company is required upon completion. Qualifications: 1. A portfolio demonstrating previous experience in Logo Design and Brand Identity. Students in Visual Arts / Graphic Design are also welcome! 2. No Al Art / Al Generation: We require 100% original, human-created design. Al tools should not be used for final logo assets, as we require full unique branding and copyright ownership. 3. Ability to understand technical, medical, and scientific concepts and translate them into visual art. (e.g., capable of researching and grasping the concept of Lyapunov stability and the scientist's background)

The primary responsibility is to design a professional company logo and brand identity based on the company's vision and philosophy. The designer must deliver production-ready, scalable vector files and transfer copyright ownership upon completion.

Candidates should have a portfolio demonstrating experience in logo design and brand identity, with students in Visual Arts or Graphic Design also welcome. The design must be 100% original and human-created, with the ability to understand and translate technical medical concepts into visual art.
