*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate trucks and transport freight to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. * Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws while on the road. * Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. *Experience* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license is required. * Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. * Previous experience in freight transportation or logistics is a plus. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is advantageous. * Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
