Our New Order Picker: As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for picking Job Orders in a timely fashion and help serve Production through the Picking Window for anything they might need. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, highly detailed-oriented, and demonstrates good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure. What you bring to the role: * High School Diploma or equivalent experience * At least 1 years of experience in stockroom, warehouse * Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred * Ability to prioritize and follow procedures * At least 1 year of computer experience and aptitude for ERP/ computer applications * Physical requirements: Able to lift and move up to 35lbs, frequent walking and standing for long periods, bending and reaching * Forklift experience would be considered an asset What you will do in the role: 1. Accurately pull parts as directed and coordinate with Picking Lead for jobs released to Production. 2. Pack and unpack items to be stocked and organized on shelves in the stockroom. 3. Restock parts efficiently and maintain stockroom documents as required. 4. Use handheld tablet when picking parts, to ensure accuracy of the item picked. 5. Communicate material issues to Inventory Specialist. 6. Perform transactions, post material in System as required. 7. Organize material and store material neatly. 8. Perform cycle counts as need. 9. Help to serve Production at the Window when required. 10. Other duties as required. 11. Able to lift up to 35lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%. 12. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area. This position is located at 6635 Ordan Drive in Mississauga, ON. Hours are typically Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Pay: $20.00 This is a Full-time, Hourly position. Want to see what it's like working at MAD? Candidates need a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a warehouse or stockroom setting. Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs and proficiency with computer applications or ERP systems are required.
