An exciting opportunity exists at G&E Contracting LP for a Construction Project Coordinator. This is a full-time position based out of G&E’s Langford yard in Victoria, with jobsites throughout the local area. The position reports to the Project Management team. What we offer: * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunities for professional growth and advancement * The opportunity to be an integral part of the employee-owned Mainroad Group of Companies The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: * Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline * Two to three years of experience in hands-on construction or project administration * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong Microsoft Office skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Job duties include the following: * Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day project requirements * Managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs and submittals * Issuing purchase orders and subcontracts as required * Creating, updating and maintaining project schedules * Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams * Attending site and project meetings as required * Assisting with tendering and bid preparation * Tracking project costs, timelines and deliverables * Supporting general project administration and reporting If you are excited to be part of our dynamic and growing team, we invite you to apply by submitting your resume and cover letter.
