The Campus Security Guard plays a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive campus environment. This position is responsible for patrolling campus facilities and grounds, observing and reporting incidents, and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Patrol campus buildings, facilities, and grounds to deter and detect security concerns Promote appropriate behaviour and protect the welfare of students, faculty, and staff Respond promptly to emergency situations, provide First Aid as required, and contact police or emergency services when necessary Assist in the coordination and execution of campus emergency plans Investigate incidents and submit clear, accurate, and timely incident reports Maintain a visible, professional presence on campus to support a safe learning environment Education & Experience Alberta Basic Security Training (ABST) Certificate and valid Alberta Security License (through Alberta Solicitor General) Standard First Aid, Level C CPR, and AED certification Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in security or a related field Skills & Competencies Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong report-writing ability Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations Personal Characteristics High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to use initiative Effective conflict resolution and negotiation abilities Approachable, positive, respectful, and courteous demeanour Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team Summary Perks & Benefits: Health Spending & Lifestyle Accounts Educational Allowance for Professional Development Emergency Allowance for Unexpected Needs Free Massages at Our Student Clinic Discounts on College Programs & Courses Staff Discount in College Store On-Site Gym Access Free Parking Qualified candidates should reply to this ad with their cover letter and resume. Exigences

Candidates must possess a valid Alberta Security License and ABST certificate, along with Standard First Aid, Level C CPR, and AED certifications. A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in security or a related field is required.
