Our story started in the summer of 1994, when our founder taught 50 kids to swim in his parents’ backyard pool. Not exactly a corporate headquarters, but it worked. It gave us the freedom to focus on what still matters most today: real progress in the pool, strong relationships with families, and giving back to our community. Today, Making Waves has grown, but our focus is the same: helping swimmers build real skills, real confidence, and real progress in the water. The instructor will lead safe, high-energy swimming lessons using a structured approach to help students build confidence and skills. They are also responsible for communicating professionally with families and maintaining a positive, fun learning environment.

Candidates must hold Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification and either a National Lifeguard or Bronze Cross qualification. Applicants should be reliable, energetic, and comfortable working with children in a team-oriented setting.
