Jr. Estimator

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Mammoet is looking for a task-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tendering and Estimating team in the Edmonton region. This role will be responsible for the creation of basic estimate packages in alignment with internal bidding protocols as well as collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making. This ensures that the company receives well-considered, comprehensive proposals that meet both customer expectations and internal bidding standards, all within the established timelines. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner Ensure the quotations prepared are in line with the global tendering guidelines Consult operations/engineering to ensure proposals are operationally feasible with execution methods confirmed by engineering Contribute to and implement Tendering/Estimating policy and determine execution strategies in line with the sales strategy Understand and execute project requirements Follows up with clients to determine the status of the quoted work and answer any questions they may have WHAT YOU’LL NEED Education & Experience Diploma or degree in a related technical field preferred (CET, EIT) Heavy Lift/Crane/Transport technical understanding desired Industrial or Pre-Construction Management experience in similar industry Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and interpretation. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related technical field and experience in industrial or pre-construction management. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data mining is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
