Full Description We are looking for an energetic team player to join is everyday (Monday-Friday) from 3pm to 5 or 5:30pm with opportunities to pick up full sifts on in-service days. J.A. Cuddy Child Care is located in Sanford MB, just 10 minutes from the perimeter hwy. We have a great mix of local staff, as well as those driving from the city. Our Centre has 77 spaces, from infant through to school age. We recently renovated play yards for each age group and spend a lot of time outdoors. We have a tight-knit community and enjoy walking around town, visiting local businesses, and playing at the town rec centre. We Offer Vacation paid out at 6% or can discuss accruing vacation time (three weeks after one year, and further accumulation of holidays after more years of service) Paid professional development for all staff, including a minimum of four days/year full day closure for team building and workshops We close annually from December 24th through to Jan 1st. Staff are paid regular wages We have a "poor weather plan" in place for winter storms and bad road conditions, to ensure the safety of all staff. Regular wages are still paid when we close due to poor weather The Manitoba Child Care Association acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the Red River Métis Homeland. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and we move forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
