Child Care Assistant- Part Time, School Age

Full Description O.K. Before & After School Child Care Centres Inc. is a multi-site Organization in the Seven Oaks/Maples Area. We are looking for a fun and reliable Child Care Assistant to join one of our School Age Programs. This position would be 3 hours per day, 7 hours per day on school inservices, winter break, spring break and summer. A successful candidate for this position would be passionate about building caring community, welcome diversity, inquiry and exploration both indoors and outdoors. We foster respectful and nurturing relationships with the child’s development in mind. We are looking for individuals who are reflective, dynamic and open to new challenges The Manitoba Child Care Association acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the Red River Métis Homeland. The Child Care Assistant will support school-age programs by fostering respectful and nurturing relationships with children. They will facilitate inquiry and exploration for children in both indoor and outdoor environments.
