Infinity Women Secretariat (IWS) is a non-profit organization that connects Red River Métis women, girls, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals throughout the Province of Manitoba and beyond, with a mandate to promote, empower, and enhance their well-being. Incorporated on April 23, 2013, IWS has become well known in our Red River Métis communities and remains a proud affiliate of the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF), the National Government of the Red River Métis. IWS seeks to fill one full-time Program Assistant position located at 150 Henry Ave in Winnipeg, MB. The Program Assistant will assist program staff with the development of a number of IWS programs, activities, and supports for IWS members. Job Duties/Competencies: * Participate in program planning and support the development of IWS programs, activities, and services; * Assist with the development of program outlines, activities, and participant registration processes; * Support the delivery, research, evaluation, and analysis of programs and activities; * Organize resources and materials for existing projects, new initiatives, and funding applications; * Prepare oral and written reports, program evaluations, and grant proposals as required. Skills and Qualifications: * Graduation from a recognized program in Program Management, Business Administration, Communications or relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered; * Minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience in program development and preparing program proposals is preferred; * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite; * Knowledge of research, evaluation, and reporting; * Acceptable Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry Check is required; * Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills; * Experience working for a not-for-profit organization and Indigenous community is an asset; * Knowledge of Red River Métis culture, MMF and IWS programs and services is a definite asset; and, * Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle. Exigences

Requires a degree in Program Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, with a preference for 2 years of related experience. Candidates must pass several background checks and possess a valid Manitoba Driver's license with a reliable vehicle.
