Job Description The Dispatcher role is a fast-paced, demanding position focused on planning and coordinating the pickups and deliveries for our Nanaimo service area, including surrounding rural routes. We're looking to onboard a dedicated professional to join our team and help us meet or exceed our customers' expectations. As a Dispatcher, you'll be the nerve center of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily flow. Your key duties will include: Scheduling to execute all of the terminals pickups and deliveries Verify equipment and driver availability including start times. Dealing with customers, drivers, central dispatch, Terminal Manager, etc. Dock work Other duties may be assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the skills and knowledge to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
