Develop High-Level Requirements (HLR) and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) in accordance with system specifications. Ensure requirements traceability throughout the software development process. Design, implement, and maintain software functions in compliance with project coding standards and processes. Conduct software verification activities, including peer reviews of development artifacts. Create software test cases and develop test procedures. Execute unit, integration, validation, and verification testing activities. Analyze test results and document findings. Support software configuration management activities, including change and problem management. Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Contribute to key project milestones related to software qualification and certification objectives. Produce project deliverables including requirements, design documentation, source code, test artifacts, analysis reports, and coverage reports. Required Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Experience developing software for avionics or other safety-critical systems. Knowledge of DO-178C software development and certification processes. Strong programming skills in C and/or Ada. Experience in software requirements development and management. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, verification, and validation activities. Knowledge of software configuration management practices. Familiarity with requirements management and traceability tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 5 to 10 years of experience in avionics or a related industry preferred. Miscellaneous Requirements The work model is hybrid (at least 3 days at the office). Professional proficiency in spoken and written French is mandatory. Occasional travel may be required based on project needs. Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec. / La connaissance de l'anglais est requise pour communiquer et travailler avec nos clients situés à l'extérieur de la province de Québec.
