220 Highway 14, Chester, NS, B0J 1J0 $38.00 Hourly Assembly Supervisor - Production Department What Is In It For You Competitive compensation - starting $38 an hour Professional development opportunities – be part of a team that values your contributions and recognizes the impact you make on the business Comprehensive benefits – health, medical, dental, vision, paramedical, HSA Company RRSP matching Witness the design, building and testing of our equipment which is involved in some of the biggest, coolest projects in the world What You Will Do Report to the Manufacturing Manager Supervise the operations of the Assembly Department Ensure employees are aware of all safety requirements and instructs them in the Health & Safety Program Prepare work schedules, makes work assignments for employees and sets work deadlines Inspect work in progress and completed to ensure conformance to specifications and adherence to quality standards Maintain ISO-9001 Standards as they relate to manufacturing Attend weekly production meetings and reports on work in progress Provide labour estimates for manufacturing Responsible for the hiring or termination of all personnel in the machine shop Who You Are Experience within specific skilled trade manufacturing heavy equipment with leadership responsibilities Certified Millwright, Mechanic and/or equivalent training/experience Effective leadership and team-building skills Solid technical understanding of the equipment being manufactured Sense of urgency, highly responsive and oriented towards action Able to work overtime What To Do Next Apply to this exciting position by submitting your resume today.
