The Opportunity We are looking for an accomplished Senior Vice President to join our AEOI and AML Services team as part of our financial services business in Montreal. The Senior Vice President will be responsible for leading the administration and management of FATCA and CRS compliance and AML for our fund administration and regulatory services clients. Your primary responsibilities include: Leading and managing multiple operational teams supporting AML and AEOI services across various jurisdictions and client segments, ensuring high quality service delivery and acting as the primary escalation point for client service issues. Overseeing investor due diligence activities related to AEOI and AML/KYC, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Ensuring the timely preparation, review, and submission of FATCA and CRS annual filings in accordance with applicable reporting deadlines. Ensuring investor onboarding and periodic reviews are completed in line with jurisdictional requirements. Driving workflow optimisation, technology adoption and process improvements initiatives. Monitoring service levels, key performance indicators, and operational risks, implementing appropriate controls and remediation plans where necessary. Leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives to improve service quality, efficiency and client outcomes. Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop, maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures, process documentation, and training materials. Provide operational insights, management reporting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. Fostering a high-performance culture by coaching, developing and driving staff engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support business objectives and deliver exceptional service. What You Bring In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences, the successful candidate will: Be a university graduate, with an excellent academic background, and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in FATCA, CRS, AML/KYC or related regulatory services in the investment funds or financial services industry. Possess a strong working knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulatory requirements, including investor due diligence, account classification, documentation validation, and reporting obligations. Possess a strong working knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, investor onboarding, periodic reviews, remediation activities, and ongoing monitoring requirements, including reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Be able to demonstrate experience leading and developing operational teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing workflows and performance against established goals and service levels, while maintaining a high standard of quality and client service. Have experience in monitoring and managing key performance indicators, identifying process improvement opportunities, and ensuring departmental objectives are achieved through effective leadership and team management. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and assess documentation against established standards. Possess a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Have excellent organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills. Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel, reporting, and data management skills. Le premier vice-président sera chargé de diriger l’administration, la gestion de la conformité et le respect des exigences en matière de lutte contre le blanchiment d’argent (LBA) en ce qui concerne la loi « Foreign account Tax Compliance Act » (« la FATCA ») et la Norme commune de déclaration (« la NCD ») pour nos clients des services d’administration de fonds et de réglementation. Vos principales responsabilités comprennent : Diriger et gérer plusieurs équipes opérationnelles chargées des services en lien avec la LBA et l’échange automatique d’informations (EAI) à travers différents territoires de compétence et segments de clientèle, en assurant la prestation de services de haute qualité et en agissant en tant que principal palier d’intervention pour les problèmes de service à la clientèle. Superviser les activités de contrôle préalable des investisseurs liées à l’EAI et à la LBA ou à CVC, en veillant au respect des politiques internes, des exigences réglementaires et des normes du secteur. Assurer la préparation, l’examen et la soumission en temps opportun des déclarations annuelles en lien avec la FATCA et la NCD, conformément aux délais de déclaration applicables. Veiller à ce que l’intégration des investisseurs et les examens périodiques soient effectués conformément aux exigences du territoire de compétence concerné. Mener des initiatives d’optimisation des flux de travail, d’adoption de technologies et d’amélioration des processus. Surveiller les niveaux de service, les principaux indicateurs de rendement et les risques opérationnels, et mettre en œuvre des contrôles et des plans de mesures correctives appropriés, au besoin. Diriger la gestion du changement et les initiatives d’amélioration continue pour améliorer la qualité du service, l’efficacité et les résultats pour les clients. Collaborer avec les intervenants internes pour élaborer, maintenir et améliorer les procédures opérationnelles standard, la documentation des processus et le matériel de formation. Fournir ses observations concernant les opérations, des rapports de gestion et des recommandations stratégiques à la haute direction pour informer la prise de décisions stratégiques.
