*Summary:* Reporting to the General Manager, the Inventory Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and effective scheduling of workers to meet production targets and quality standards. Responsibilities will include the training of staff in production methods, safety, policies and procedures, as well as the identification and correction of potential work problems and health and safety issues. In the course of their duties, the Inventory Manager will prepare a range of reports and hold responsibilities for the effective budgeting for their area. Through the effective management of targets, goals and production efficiencies, the Inventory Manager will ensure the ongoing success of the plant floor. This is a full-time temporary-to-permanent opportunity. *Job Duties:* * Monitor daily warehouse activities and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained * Keep track of daily shipments and deliveries by completing reports * Build and foster healthy and long-lasting relationships with the suppliers within the scope of the inventory manager role * Identify shortages and bottlenecks in the inventory control tasks and resolve the same through continuous improvements * Track and meet the KPIs for inventory control that are set by the company * Identify, investigate, correct and document potential environmental and safety problems. * Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units. * Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. * Provide information for production plans to ensure that production objectives are met. * Train or organize training for staff?s duties, safety procedures and company policy. * Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. * Prepare production and other reports and develop and manage operating budget for area of responsibility. * All other duties as may be assigned *Education & Experience:* * University degree or College diploma in related field preferred * Minimum 5-years? experience in a similar role * Minimum 3-years' supervisory experience with demonstrated motivating, training, appraising and general supervisory skills. * Experience working with a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system * Proven leadership ability and team building skills to effectively supervise a team *Skills & Abilities:* * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal * Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Well-organized with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing tasks in a time-sensitive working environment * Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers. * Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives. * Able to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing practices as needed. * High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability. * Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures. *Recruitment & Selection* At Mara Technologies, we believe that great hires are made by people, not algorithms.
