We are seeking a Millwork Draftsman / Technical Designer to transform luxury architectural concepts into flawless, buildable shop drawings. You will bridge the gap between design and production, engineering bespoke millwork and precision displays for premier global brands. This is a low-volume, highly specialized shop focused on technical craft rather than mass production. *You will:* * Draft Shop Drawings: Create comprehensive, buildable construction drawings and fabrication packages using AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor. * Solve Technical Challenges: Engineer complex joints where fine hardwoods meet metal, glass, and integrated lighting. * Collaborate: Partner directly with designers and shop craftsmen to ensure design intent matches structural reality. * Review & Refine: Catch and resolve material conflicts or sizing discrepancies before drawings hit the saw. *We Are Looking For:* * Technical Experience: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) or Autodesk Inventor within a custom millwork, furniture, or architectural woodworking environment. * Material Knowledge: Practical understanding of cabinetry construction, hardware, and how wood, metal, and glass connect. * Precision Focus: A natural eye for accuracy and structural details that ensure a flawless final fit. * Shop Mindset: Ability to take feedback from the fabrication floor and translate it back into the digital model. *We Offer* * Culture of Craft: A respectful environment that views technical drafters as vital partners to the shop floor. * Premium Projects: Opportunity to work on prestigious, non-commodity architectural pieces. * Supportive Team: A workplace where your problem-solving skills and technical expertise are valued.
