Position Summary We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our production team in achieving daily and long-term operational goals. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising and coordinating production staff to meet production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Description Embody and promote company’s core values (Integrity, Growth and Resilience). Provide direct supervision and support to production staff, ensuring alignment with daily and long-term production goals. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and food safety regulations. Promote a zero-incident safety culture. Monitor and improve production processes to reduce downtime, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance throughput. Optimize workforce utilization through strategic planning, task standardization, and cross-training initiatives. Analyze yield performance and implement corrective actions to minimize loss and maximize product recovery while maintaining quality standards. Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other CI methodologies to reduce waste and improve process control. Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and other departments to ensure operational alignment. Work closely with the maintenance team to plan and execute routine and shutdown maintenance, minimizing disruptions and extending equipment life. Utilize MS Office tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Robotics and automation experience considered an asset (case packing, case erecting, and palletization systems). Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and/or statutory holidays, to support production demands Ability to work rotating shifts as per business needs. Physically capable of standing for long periods, working in ranging temperatures and humidity levels, and perform lifting (up to 25kgs), pushing, pulling and repetitive movements. Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and active listening. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands. Reliable attendance is critical.
