*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! We are a long established, single practitioner, privately owned and operated practice. *Duties* * Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, and orthodontic treatments * Prepare patients for treatment by taking medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly * Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use, maintaining strict infection control protocols * Take and develop dental radiographs, utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when necessary * Manage patient records efficiently using dental software ensuring accuracy and confidentiality * Support pediatric patients with gentle care and patience, creating a welcoming environment for children receiving dental care *Skills* * Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry * Familiarity with dental practice management software for scheduling and record-keeping * Experience working with orthodontic patients and supporting orthodontic procedures * Strong understanding of infection control standards and sterilization techniques in a dental setting * Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed * Knowledge of CAD technology used in digital dentistry applications * Ability to multitask efficiently as both a clinical assistant and front desk support, including handling some basic dental receptionist duties Join us to be part of a team that values your skills, encourages your growth, and is committed to providing outstanding dental care!
