Are you ready to bring your CNC machining skills to the team at Martin Sprocket & Gear that values precision and innovation? At this branch, we're dedicated to making material handling systems with excellence. We're looking for skilled CNC Machinists like you! What You'll Do? * Production Setup: Follow process sheets, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors to complete production setup tasks. * Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to set up CNC lathes and mills accurately. * Machine Operation: Upload CNC programs using Fanuc, Okuma, and Haas controls; adjust tooling and machine settings as needed. * Quality Assurance: Verify first-run parts meet specifications using various measuring tools. * Cross-Team Support: Assist operators with machine setup and part production. * Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow lifting guidelines (no more than 50 lbs. without assistance). * Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals. What You'll Bring: * Experience: 1 year or equivalent schooling of CNC setup and operation experience. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and adjusting Fanuc controls, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other measuring tools. * Communication: Strong verbal skills to collaborate with machinists, supervisors, and managers. * Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math, including decimals, fractions, and conversions. * Language Skills: Ability to read and understand written instructions in English and accurately complete simple logs and reports. * Reliability: Consistent attendance, adherence to company policies, and a dependable work ethic. * Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled environment. * Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Your Schedule: * Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM * Potential candidates must be able to work on the 2nd shift (4:30pm - 3:00am) Monday-Thursday for the initial training period of 1 to 3 months.
