POSITION SUMMARY: MasTec Purnell Canada is currently looking for a Pipefitter with Picker Truck with an immediate start to assist with various projects. Preference will be given to candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Previous facility and pipeline experience Valid Journeyman Pipefitter certificate Picker truck - fully tooled First Aid H2S Alive CSO Fall Protection Aerial Work Platform / Genie KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Purnell Canada’s 6 Core Values Valid Class 5 driver’s license and current clean drivers abstract (5 years) is required Valid Safety Tickets Ability to identify and report hazards Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Effective attention to detail with strong degree of accuracy Read and interpret documents such as safety rules Ambitious, pro-active, high-energy, positive attitude and a team player

Exigences

Requires a Journeyman Pipefitter certificate, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and a fully tooled picker truck. Must possess several safety certifications including First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform.
