Role Description The Social Worker will provide direct clinical services, including psychosocial assessments, individual and family counseling, and supportive interventions for clients experiencing perinatal and maternal mental health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and coordinating care with other health and community providers. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in psychosocial assessment, individual counseling, family support, and treatment planning. Experience working with perinatal, maternal, or family mental health, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges. Strong abilities in crisis intervention, safety planning, and referral to appropriate community and healthcare resources. Proficiency in maintaining clinical records, documentation, and confidentiality in accordance with professional and legal standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic relationships in a diverse, inclusive environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting and to exercise sound clinical judgment and professional boundaries. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Registration in good standing (or eligibility for registration) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Previous experience in psychotherapy or counseling settings; perinatal or maternal health experience is an asset.

The Social Worker provides direct clinical services, including psychosocial assessments and counseling for clients with perinatal and maternal mental health concerns.
