Journeyman Millwright

Matrix is currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwrights to join our team. This is an urgent fill for 2–3 rotations with a 28/14 schedule. Charter flights from Edmonton are available. In this key role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and commissioning conveyor systems and apron feeders, along with their associated components and accessories. You will also support troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure these systems operate safely and efficiently in an industrial mining/milling environment. Crusher experience is considered a strong asset, as we may require support with crusher-related work when needed. Previous mining and/or milling experience is also highly desirable, as it helps candidates understand the environment and expectations from day one. Key Responsibilities Install, assemble, and commission conveyor systems and apron feeders Work with related accessories/components used with these systems Assist with crusher work when required (preferred) Support maintenance and installation activities in a mining/milling environment (preferred) Follow site safety procedures and relevant standards at all times Requirements Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright trade certification Experience/knowledge installing conveyors and apron feeders Familiarity with installation of associated conveyor/feeder components and accessories Experience in mining and/or milling is a strong asset Crusher experience is considered an asset Assets (Nice to Have) Prior experience supporting or assisting on crusher installations/maintenance Experience working in mining/milling operations Safety & Compliance Ability to work safely in industrial environments Commitment to using appropriate PPE and following all site safety rules If you are a Journeyman (Red Seal) Millwright with strong conveyor and apron feeder experience and the drive to work safely in a demanding industrial environment, we encourage you to apply. The Millwright is responsible for the installation, assembly, and commissioning of conveyor systems and apron feeders in a mining environment. They will also perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure operational safety and efficiency.

Candidates must hold a Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright trade certification. Previous experience with conveyor systems, apron feeders, and mining or milling operations is highly desirable.
