RESPONSIBILITIES: • Complete all aspects of part-to-part mold changes while continually thinking about improving mold change items • Maintain complete mold change, mold set-up, prevention maintenance, mold book, mold board, mold movement and shim records • Convey accurate information to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Manager on the overall operations of the molds and set-ups and be able to present problem solving ideas for any issues that may arise • Perform all aspects of mold pre-inspections, preventative maintenance, shimming and shipments to corporate standards • Be knowledgeable in the working and installation of auxiliary equipment • Perform any other tasks as directed by supervisor SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Have experience of the operations of molds and injection machines pertaining to the ability to do full part to full part set-ups • Be knowledgeable in the use of measuring tools • Be able to read mold prints • Be creative, organized self-starter that can work with little or no supervision • Requires good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a cooperative environment. • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and good manufacturing practices. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Certificates or licenses appropriate to manufacturing industry • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work alone, or in a team environment with limited supervision • Strong critical thinking skills • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate and work with others, and be assertive, as required. • Must have good problem solving and reasoning skills • Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write and communicate • Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment THIS POSITION IS NOT AIP ELIGIBLE Do you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
