MBRP Ltd. is a fast-growing manufacturer & distributor of performance exhaust systems for the automotive and powersports industries. Located in the heart of Muskoka, MBRP has always been an employer of choice. We are seeking two motivated Welders (NOC 72106) to join our team—one position available for the Day Shift and one for the Night Shift. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This position is on-site and operates on a continental 12-hour shift schedule (36 to 48 hours per week). AI is not used in any stage of the recruiting process. This posting is for an existing vacancy, expected start date: within 3 to 6 weeks. Responsibilities: * Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations * Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that MBRP requires to be used or worn * Report to your Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware, and which may endanger yourself or another worker * Report to your Supervisor any contravention of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations or the existence of any hazard you observe * Comply with MBRP Policies and Procedures that apply * Report to Team Leader/Area Leader Job Specific Duties: * Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications * Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW) * Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment * Operate brazing and soldering equipment * Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines * Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers. * Ability to work with a MIG welder and a Turntable (positioner) in a safe manner * Consistently produce strong, penetrated welds that are non‐porous for Aluminized, Stainless 409 and Stainless 304 materials * Welding parts in various orientations; flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead * Meet daily production demand while maintaining acceptable quality standards * Operate small tooling (die grinder, hand held angle grinder, etc.) * Perform machine pre-ops, set ups and changeovers * Accurately complete daily production paperwork (Job Order cards, Scrap recording, Bin labels etc.) * Ability to follow standardized work procedures * Ability to distinguish various materials and gauges of materials * Ability to use and read various measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, square etc.) * Physical lifting, bending, and standing required for long periods of time * Perform daily housekeeping and organizing activities * Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Leader or Area Leader, duties could include all metal fabricating processing including but not limited to cutting, expanding, slotting, polishing, packaging products.
