The Opportunity McAsphalt is the industry leader in Canada specializing in asphalt products and services. We are seeking an experienced Corporate HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Corporate Services functions (Finance, Legal, Engineering, Technical Service). Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this role partners directly with Corporate Services leaders and their teams to drive talent, capability, and organisational effectiveness in a way that reflects McAsphalt’s values of pioneering, commitment, respect, and sharing. You will operate as a trusted advisor to functional leaders and people managers, translating enterprise HR strategy into practical solutions that strengthen leadership capability, employee performance, and team effectiveness while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and mutual respect. What You’ll Be Responsible For Talent & Organisational Capability Partner with leaders to define forward-looking workforce and capability strategies that reflect a pioneering mindset and support business growth Lead performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning Identify talent risks and build strong internal pipelines Learning & Development Assess capability gaps and define development priorities with a strong commitment to continuous learning and long-term success Support leadership and professional development programs Drive adoption of enterprise learning tools and career development practices Embed Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and strengthen internal mobility Leadership Advisory & Employee Relations Coach managers on performance, engagement, and team effectiveness Provide guidance on employee relations with a focus on consistency, respect, and people-first practices Support leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams Change & Transformation Support organisational design and change initiatives within Corporate Services Enable adoption of new processes and structures by encouraging open communication, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge across teams What You Bring 8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally supporting corporate or professional functions Strong experience partnering with managers and functional leaders Background in talent management, organisational development, and/or learning & development Bilingual (French/English preferred) CHRP/CHRL (preferred) Why McAsphalt National industry leader with strong growth and stability Opportunity to influence leadership capability and talent strategy.
