McGill University Department of Economics Faculty of Arts Assistant Professor, Any Field – Department of Economics Subfield: Economic Theory The Department of Economics at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economic Theory. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position start date is August 1, 2027. All McGill faculty members are expected to contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Candidates should have completed their PhD or be near completion. An applicant’s record of performance must provide evidence of outstanding research potential and the ability/potential to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as evidence (or intentions) of undergraduate and graduate supervision and of mentoring students with diverse lived experiences. Faculty/Department/Unit: Department of Economics Faculty of Arts Job Type: Tenure-track Rank: Assistant Professor Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
