The course lecturer is responsible for teaching the Brass Orchestral Excerpts course to students at the post-secondary level. They must manage the classroom effectively while fostering students' skills for orchestral auditions.

Candidates must hold a Master of Music degree or equivalent professional experience and possess teaching experience in the field. Expert knowledge of brass orchestral literature and strong organizational abilities are required.
