Course Title and Course Number: INTD 200 Introduction to International Development (1 position) Position Summary: Instruction in conference sections; availability for student consultation/office hours; attendance in class lectures (when required by instructor); grading of papers, exams, and other course components; consultation with course instructor; assistance in the preparation of course materials. Qualifications: Must be graduate student enrolled at McGill University; all fields considered; Students with an undergraduate B.A., IDS Honors/Joint Honors encouraged to apply; Demonstrable knowledge of world development preferred; Good academic standing; Sensitivity to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion strongly encouraged; Students enrolled in the Development Studies graduate option strongly encouraged to apply; Effective communication skills. The teaching assistant will provide instruction in conference sections, conduct office hours, and attend class lectures. They are also responsible for grading course components and assisting the instructor with the preparation of course materials.
