What You’ll Do: As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the front lines of our sales efforts, focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for our Account Executive team. Your primary goal is to open the door to valuable conversations with HR leaders and position McLean & Company as their trusted advisory partner. Key Responsibilities: * Research and identify potential clients and key contacts within target organizations. * Engage prospects through outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to initiate conversations and qualify interest. * Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives by clearly articulating McLean & Company’s value proposition. * Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads using CRM tools such as Salesforce. * Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging, share feedback from the field, and support campaign execution. * Stay up to date on industry trends and company offerings to tailor outreach effectively. What You Bring: * Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or business. * Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. * A persistent, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for outreach and relationship building. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. * Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Prior B2B sales or customer-facing experience is a strong asset, but not required.
