Position Summary The Inside Account Executive - HR Division is a hybrid role combining account management and business development. The focus is on ensuring our clients are well-serviced and renew their memberships year after year, while also actively managing a specific territory of accounts. This role involves leveraging personal and professional networks, marketing leads, referrals, and contacts as they transition to new organizations. The successful candidate will strategically align with HR Executives and McLean & Company’s comprehensive suite of resources, including software, analytics, advisory, and research services. Major Responsibilities Proactively manage accounts by conducting regular service calls with clients to ensure alignment and maximize usage of the McLean membership. Utilize marketing leads and conduct warm calls within your territory to schedule onsite sales presentations with prospective clients. Support cross-functional communication and collaborate with our Research and Product Teams. Drive revenue growth by identifying referrals through personal, professional, and client networks, as well as pursuing sales opportunities with former clients who transition to new companies. Identify client needs that align with our Workshop, Executive Services, Consulting, and Training offerings. Solicit feedback and testimonials from current accounts. Record client details and account notes in the CRM system and follow internal reporting processes. Education and Experience Post-secondary education – minimum College Diploma 2 years of B2B sales experience + University Degree or 5 years of B2B sales experience + College Diploma Skills Account Management: Engage and manage the ongoing needs of clients, focusing on strategy, alignment, and operational excellence. Opportunity Identification: Actively identify opportunities within accounts and grow the account base through relationships connected with current clients. Pursue opportunities with former clients who move to different companies, leveraging your network. Organizational Skills: Keep track of clients who move companies, manage multiple calls effectively, and ensure efficient management of processes, documentation, and scheduling. Business Acumen: Have a solid understanding of business and industry language. Active Listening: Accurately understand and respond to client needs.
