Role: This is a continuing education level. May require supervision of more experienced technicians or technical staff to perform simple test bench assembly, modification or validation tasks. May be required to perform tests on simple electronic assemblies, passive or active telecommunications equipment, and chamber monitoring on more complex equipment. Must demonstrate initiative and progress within routine tasks with well-defined boundaries. Tasks: 1. Align and test simple production equipment according to well-defined procedures or other guidelines. Record test results. 2. Assist in setting up, modifying and checking test stands for equipment of simple complexity. 3. Assist more experienced technicians or technologists. 4. Participate in the monitoring of thermal or vacuum chambers. 5. Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and in compliance with our occupational health and safety rules. 6. Perform other related duties. Minimum required qualifications: * Education: College diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics or related field as assigned. * Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience * Language skills: At ease in spoken and written French and English (Contact with customers outside Quebec).
