Job type: Part-time; Full-time MDSearch is recruiting Dermatologists to join a well-established dermatology group in Edmonton, Alberta, with over 35 years of experience in providing top-quality skincare treatment and services. This group operates seven clinics across Canada and is known for its exceptional facilities and cutting-edge equipment. Offering lucrative performance-based billing. Relocation support available. ROLE OBJECTIVES: The Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Provide professional patient care at all times and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients • Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, and evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes • Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients • Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care • Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care • Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company • Adhere to company policies and protocols • Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence • Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees ​ The group's practice model is designed for maximum efficiency, which includes affording each clinician with: A team of dedicated and trained nurses and medical office assistants to optimize patient flow Exam and operating rooms to support your clinic Access to surgical/procedural rooms Access to a full suite of surgical and aesthetic lasers and injectables A head office staff equipped to handle areas such as scheduling, referrals, human resources, and billing A supportive team that leaves the physician with minimal paperwork (charting, billing, etc.) Marketing Support to grow your practice ABOUT THE CLINIC: With more than 35 years of experience, this Medical Group is Western Canada's fastest-growing family of dermatology and multi-disciplinary medical offices. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS • Current College of Physicians of Alberta (CPSA) License • A strong passion for the cosmetic dermatology field • Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required • Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required • Newer graduates welcome to apply
