About the Role We're looking for a Product Design Engineer to join our technical team supporting our Mill Liner Products & Solutions business. This role combines engineering design, reverse engineering, field collaboration, and product development to improve mill liner performance for mining customers. You'll work closely with field teams, customers, and engineering groups to transform point cloud scans and field measurements into detailed 3D models used for replacement part design, wear analysis, and product optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and wants to make a direct impact on mining operations. Responsibilities Design and develop mill liner components using advanced CAD modeling and detailed manufacturing drawings. Analyze wear patterns and recommend design improvements to enhance product performance and service life. Collaborate with customers, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver customized technical solutions. Support field scanning activities and evaluate point cloud data for reverse engineering applications. Partner with regional teams to support new product development initiatives. Share technical expertise across engineering teams and contribute to continuous product improvements. Travel to mine sites as needed to support customer projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC). Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience. Proficiency with CAD and PDM systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience creating technical documentation and engineering reports. Basic understanding of metallurgy and mechanical systems. Willingness to travel to customer sites. Preferred Skills Experience with mill liner design and wear analysis. Knowledge of mining and mineral processing operations. Experience with point cloud scanning technologies (Creaform, Faro, Hexagon). Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional experience. Product development and engineering change management experience. Spanish language skills are a plus.
