The Role: Medcan is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive the growth of our Executive Health Solutions through selling directly to businesses and corporations, with a focus on engaging HR leaders, Total Rewards teams, and Business Owners. This position requires a keen understanding of B2B sales - as a natural “hunter” you possess exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of executing effective sales strategies. This is a permanent, full-time, remote position that is scheduled primarily during business hours Monday through Friday – flexibility to attend in-person client meetings and conferences in the Greater Toronto Area is required. Applicants must be able to come into our 150 York St office location in downtown Toronto for occasional on-site training and meetings as required. What You’ll Do: * Direct B2B Prospecting: Identify and target businesses and corporate decision-makers to introduce Medcan and build a strong direct sales pipeline. * Relationship Management: Cultivate, manage, and maintain strong, productive relationships with businesses and decision-makers to support direct sales success. * Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that support direct B2B pipeline management, drive strong conversion of leads into qualified opportunities and closed business. * Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure consistent tracking of sales activities, progress, and performance against targets. * Market Analysis: Continuously analyze the healthcare market and competitors to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. * Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Medcan’s offerings to effectively communicate features, benefits, and return on investment to prospects. * Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms and close deals with clients, ensuring contract terms are understood and that terms and conditions are reviewed with the client. * Sales Reporting: Regularly track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets to senior management. * In-Market Attendance: Attend tradeshows, conferences, and events to drive brand awareness and grow relationships. What You’ll Need: * University Degree or College Diploma, a background in business management or marketing is preferred. * 7-10 years of experience in sales, account/client management in high growth environment * Strong knowledge and application of client management, sales, and business development strategies. * Demonstrated ability to drive client retention and growth. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of individuals at varying levels. * Working knowledge of MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. * Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce is an asset) and other key sales-enablement tools. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required. Position Pay Range Pay range based on projected On-Target Earnings for year one of employment. $130,000 - $160,000 The compensation range provided in this posting reflects a projected estimate for the first year of employment and includes base salary plus anticipated variable commission earnings. Actual commission will vary based on individual performance, team targets, and business conditions. Over time, commission earnings may grow as the employee gains experience, builds client relationships, and achieves performance milestones. This projection is not a guarantee of future earnings and should be viewed as an illustrative example based on current compensation models.
