Work mainly focuses on troubleshooting and repairing of equipment, as well as supporting the installation of equipment and the sales of maintenance contracts. Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a high level of client service by * Responding promptly to service requests * Following through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues * Listening to customer issues * Communicating client service information with the Sales Representatives and the Service Coordinators * Completing work orders * Maintaining appropriate tools, supplies and parts within vehicle Maintain client equipment by * Documenting equipment issues and completed repairs * Diagnosing equipment issues and arranging for required parts, supplies or tools * Communicating equipment issues and recommended repairs to the customers * Adjusting, repairing or calibrating equipment based on manufacturer’s specifications * Following through on maintenance contracts Supports new equipment installations by * Providing follow up support within committed timelines * Verifying equipment is set to manufacturer’s specifications * Selling maintenance contracts Maintain a safe and respectful environment by * Reporting incidents, injuries or near misses * Conducting oneself in accordance with Sinclair’s policies * Participating in ongoing educational programs Qualification & Skill Requirements * Dental Equipment Manufacturer certification training a huge asset * Certification, Diploma or Degree in mechanical, electrical, small machine repair etc. is an asset * Minimum of 3 years’ experience repairing equipment * Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or plumbing * Excellent customer service skills * Aptitude for problem solving * Able to prioritize and organize work schedule with limited supervision * Strong verbal and written communication skills Position Specific Requirements * Daily travel between dentists’ offices throughout the territory * Valid Canadian or equivalent driver’s license and a good driving record * Available to work evening and weekends to support emergency call outs * Periodically required to travel overnight to provide support to clients * Able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) * Manual dexterity to operate hand and small power tools The anticipated salary range for this position: $50,600.00 - $76,000.00 Annual This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
