By combining advanced semiconductor technologies, multi-orbit satellite signals, and intelligent positioning algorithms, AUROXAT is enabling trustworthy navigation in challenging environments where conventional GNSS solutions struggle. Position Overview AUROXAT is seeking a highly motivated Positioning Algorithm Engineer to join our growing PNT team. In this role, you will develop next-generation positioning algorithms for GNSS and emerging Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite systems, helping to create resilient and high-accuracy navigation solutions for future autonomous platforms. You will work closely with signal processing, IC design, software, and system engineering teams to develop advanced navigation engines capable of delivering reliable positioning in complex and degraded environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge GNSS + LEO technologies and influence the future of resilient satellite navigation. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and optimize positioning algorithms for GNSS and LEO satellite systems · Develop high-precision positioning solutions including RTK, PPP, PPP-RTK, and carrier-phase-based navigation techniques. · Research and develop resilient PNT technologies for challenging environments affected by jamming, spoofing, multipath, signal blockage, and RF interference. · Analyze receiver performance using real-world datasets, simulation platforms, and field test data. · Participate in system-level performance evaluation, validation, and field testing activities. Preferred Qualifications · M.S. or Ph.D. in Geomatics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline · Strong understanding of satellite navigation and GNSS positioning principles · Experience with estimation theory and state-space modeling · Embedded ARM software development · Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience · GNSS positioning and navigation algorithms · RTK, Network RTK, PPP, PPP-RTK, SSR, or precise positioning techniques · Kalman filtering, Extended Kalman Filters (EKF), Unscented Kalman Filters (UKF) · Sensor fusion involving GNSS, IMU, wheel odometry, cameras, LiDAR, or other sensors · Integrity monitoring and resilient PNT technologies · GNSS error modeling and mitigation · Multipath mitigation techniques · Spoofing and jamming detection and mitigation · LEO satellite navigation systems What We Offer · Opportunity to develop industry-leading GNSS + LEO positioning technologies · Work with internationally recognized experts in satellite navigation, semiconductors, and autonomous systems · International and collaborative engineering environment with teams in Canada and Taiwan · Competitive salary, performance incentives, and stock option opportunities · Opportunity to shape the future of resilient positioning technologies for global markets
