We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager to manage and oversee the procurement function of our hospital. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage procurement of medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, housekeeping, engineering and general supplies. Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive procurement. Obtain quotations, compare rates, negotiate terms and issue purchase orders. Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery schedules and payment terms. Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies, statutory requirements and approved budgets. Coordinate with various departments, Stores, Finance, Pharmacy and Administration for procurement requirements. Maintain proper documentation, purchase records and vendor databases. Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable and approved suppliers. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement without compromising quality. Qualification & Experience Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PG Diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent will be preferred. 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare organisation. Strong knowledge of medical and general hospital procurement, vendor management and negotiation. Good communication, analytical and decision-making skills. Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and ERP systems.
