We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of mechanical and controls engineers. This role combines technical leadership, project execution, and people management in a fast-paced industrial environment. Client Details Our client is a leading organisation specialising in advanced industrial equipment and engineered solutions. Their technologies support manufacturing operations across global markets and are recognised for quality, innovation, and customer-focused execution. Description Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the successful execution of customer projects from quotation through design, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning. You will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical and controls engineers. Manage engineering resources, schedules, and project priorities. Coordinate engineering activities with manufacturing, purchasing, assembly, service, sales, and external suppliers. Facilitate technical reviews and cross-functional project meetings. Monitor project budgets, timelines, risks, and overall performance. Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and engineering process improvements. Profile You are a strong technical leader with experience managing engineering teams and delivering industrial equipment projects. You thrive in a project-driven environment, possess excellent communication skills, and are passionate about developing people while driving operational excellence. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 5-7 years of engineering experience within machine design, industrial equipment, capital equipment, or a related sector. Minimum 3 years of experience leading engineering teams. Strong understanding of machine design, manufacturing processes, and electro-mechanical systems. Experience with CAD software, ideally AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and project deliverables simultaneously.
