An ICI focused, Ottawa based, Mid-sized General Contractor is looking for their newest Site Superintendent due to continued growth. Client Details Site Superintendent - ICI - Ottawa Our client is a mid-sized Ottawa based General Contractor with an excellent reputation within the ICI construction space. Their project specialities include - Federal, Institutional, (schools and hospitals) as well as light industrial and wood framed mid-rise. Description Site Superintendent - ICI - Ottawa Responsibilities You will collaborate with clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Specifically, you will be running the day-to-day operations on a variety of ICI construction sites and will be responsible for: Ensuring optimal quality on the job site. In collaboration with the project management team, will develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule to ensure construction project milestones and completion dates are met. Manage, schedule, and supervise sub-trades and field employees to ensure work is planned and performed efficiently while providing excellent service and a top notch finished product. Demonstrate leadership and ensure that projects are built according to approved construction plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes, and that high-quality standards are maintained. Maintain a thorough daily report that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections, and other relevant information. Potentially supervise multiple projects at one time. Profile Site Superintendent - ICI - Ottawa Minimum of 5+ Years ICI focused Construction experience Experience working on both New build and Renovations/fit-outs Experience leading project sites valued between $5 Million - $20 Million required Strong relationships with local trades Ability to manage teams on site and potentially manage multiple sites at any one time. Security clearance, or the ability to secure security clearance is preferred. Job Offer A basic salary of up to $125,000 (dependent upon experience).
