Location: Remote - Canada wide Opportunity at Microserve Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Proposal Services Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality proposals for complex IT solutions and services opportunities. This role combines hands-on proposal writing and management with team leadership responsibilities, overseeing the end-to-end RFP response process from opportunity evaluation through submission and handover to delivery. The successful candidate will be an exceptional writer, project manager, and people leader who can drive proposal excellence, improve win rates, manage proposal content and knowledge repositories, and develop a high-performing proposal team. This position plays a critical role in supporting business growth by ensuring compelling, compliant, and competitive proposal submissions. Key Responsibilities Proposal Writing and Management (Individual Contributor) Responsible for the end-to-end proposal response process including review and evaluation of RFPs, selection and coordination of RFP response team, meeting scheduling and facilitation;, complex technical writing;, providing guidance to the response team;, submissions, creating shortlist or other important client presentations, assisting in contract reviews and negotiations, and handover to delivery. Writing most parts of complex IT solutions and services proposals independently, based on industry knowledge and existing reusable content, requiring minimal help to do so. Contributing to achieving and exceeding target win rates. Organizing and managing Company’s proposal Content Warehouse within SharePoint, editing and updating regularly to ensure high quality and availability. Providing content, writing and formatting support to other teams within Microserve. Support Microserve Executive and Senior Leadership in the contract review process and contract revision management. Leading the Proposals Team (People Leader and Process Manager) Acting as the point of escalation and guiding the team’s performance and results. Managing team performance through KPIs such as target win rates. Managing individual performance such as conducting reviews, providing feedback, enhance individual performance. Training team members and developing their technical and soft skills. Hiring team members and managing resourcing levels, which include interviews, onboarding and set-up. Measuring and reporting team performance. SLAs, including win-loss. Identify and implement process and performance improvements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, English, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience managing complex proposal responses, RFPs, RFQs, and IT services proposals. 2+ years of leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing proposal or bid management teams. Experience supporting IT services, managed services, professional services, or technology solution providers is strongly preferred. Experience in Canadian / North American market is preferred. Advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint design/graphics, and proficiency in MS Excel and SharePoint. Basic Microsoft Power Apps creation and maintenance skills and experience is desirable. Work Conditions This role can be fulfilled remotely from anywhere in Canada with good internet connectivity and a distraction-free environment for working at home. Work hours will need to match business hours in the Pacific Time Zone. The role requires flexibility in work hours to accommodate client proposal deadlines. Please note the exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, and internal pay equity. Exigences
Requires a bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in complex proposal management, including at least 2 years of leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint is essential, with experience in the IT services sector strongly preferred.
