MFM Limited Partnership is looking for an individual to join our team as a Tool Repair Technician in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Tool Repair Technician, you will support and learn from experienced Tool Repair Technicians in repairing, inspection, and certifications for both heavy duty and light duty industrial tools and equipment. Schedule: 4 days on 3 days off working 10 hours per day shift rotation Work Location: Mainly based at the MFM Tools facility in Fort McMurray. Work locations may change occasionally due to operational requirements (potential for site-based work) Overtime Eligibility: Some overtime may be required on occasion. Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect & diagnose failures on various components such as: Pumps, Motors, Welding machines, Power Units, control circuits, automated cutting systems etc. Disassembly/inspection/repair of electrical tools, Perform certification testing and documentation of welding machines and related equipment Maintain, calibrate and repair in house equipment as required. Small tool repair as assigned Skills & Experience: Demonstrated commitment to working safely Comfortable working with hydraulic pressure up to 10,000psi Comfortable working with voltage ranges 16-600 vac and 12-600 vdc (welding machines) Will be seen as an asset.
