Millennium Building and Construction ( MBC) is looking for a skilled and dependable *Framer / Carpenter* to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others and has the hands-on skills to get the job done safely, efficiently and correctly. *What You?ll Do* * Construct, erect, install and repair wood, plywood, wallboard and other structures and fixtures * Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials including wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel * Read and follow blueprints, building plans and project specifications * Install windows, doors and structural fasteners * Inspect existing structures for damage or wear and complete repairs or replacements * Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and equipment safely and effectively * Work collaboratively with the team to keep projects on schedule and to a high standard * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment *What You Bring* * Minimum *2 years of experience* as a framer or carpenter * Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle * Strong knowledge of framing techniques, power tools and hand tools * Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment * Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship * Ability to read and follow blueprints and project plans * Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team * Welding and structural restoration experience is considered an asset *About MBC* At MBC, our purpose is simple: *to create an exceptional experience for our customers, employees and contractors.* We believe our people are our greatest investment in the future.
