The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and food preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, priorizing in sourdough and pastries and pensuring high-quality standards. Your creativity in cake decorating and knowledge of food safety practices will contribute to our reputation for excellence. *Duties* * Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, cakes, and desserts. * prepare and bake sourdough bread and pastries * Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to company standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. * Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items. * Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed. * Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and techniques. *Qualifications* * minimum of *2 years* of experience in Baking industry is needed * diploma in culinary, license and certification is an *asset* but will by highly considered * Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely. * Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
