Company Description Millwoods Denture Clinic is a dedicated denturist practice in Edmonton focused on improving patients’ smiles and oral comfort. The clinic offers a range of denture services, including Complete and partial dentures, relines, resets, and implant-supported dentures, tailored to individual needs. Patients receive personalized care and detailed consultations to determine the most suitable denture options. Millwoods Denture Clinic emphasizes quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and responsive service, encouraging patients to contact the clinic to explore treatment options. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Denturist role based at Millwoods Denture Clinic in Edmonton,or its other locations near Edmonton .A B. The Denturist will assess patients’ oral health and denture needs, take impressions, and design, fabricate, and fit complete and partial dentures, including implant-supported solutions. Daily responsibilities include performing relines and resets, adjusting and repairing existing dentures, and providing follow-up care to ensure optimal fit and function. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, educating patients on denture care and maintenance, collaborating with dentists and other oral health professionals when necessary, and adhering to all regulatory and infection control standards. The Denturist is expected to contribute to a welcoming patient experience and support the clinic’s reputation for high-quality denture services. Qualifications Licensed Denturist in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body in Alberta, with demonstrated clinical experience in complete and partial dentures. Proficiency in taking impressions, bite registrations, and performing denture relines, resets, repairs, and adjustments. Experience with implant-supported dentures, treatment planning, and collaboration with dental surgeons and dentists. Strong patient communication and education skills, with the ability to explain treatment options and care instructions clearly and compassionately. Commitment to infection control, clinical safety protocols, and accurate charting and documentation. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and high standards for craftsmanship and esthetics in denture fabrication. Ability to work independently in a clinical setting while contributing positively to a small, team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a denture or prosthodontic clinic is an asset; proficiency with relevant dental lab equipment and materials is beneficial.
