The position is responsible for the successful implementation and project management of the ONA credit for prior learning pilot called Recredentialing Pathways (RCP) for Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs) and will require strategic project management expertise. The goals of this grant include: Development and expansion of a statewide credit for prior learning initiative, in four industries for foreign trained professionals. Provide support to existing programming through the addition of service providers, new employer partners, and the development of a career pathways resource guide. Increase diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within RCP applicants. Strengthen and diversify the statewide workforce development system through full implementation of RCP for Internationally Trained Professionals by increasing ITPs access to state and federally funded programs, increasing employers access to underutilized talent pool, and aiding in opportunities for ITPs economic mobility. Responsibilities Include Serve as principal consultant, and project liaison to direct and conduct comprehensive studies of CareerForce Division delivery systems, and the interrelationships among system components by analyzing the flow of service delivery for ITPs. Grant operations and budget oversight. Grant performance management and reporting. Facilitation and coordination of meetings with stakeholders both inside and outside of DEED, developing positive relationships and communication protocols. Provide the day-to-day operations including working directly with partners, DEED staff, vendors and other stakeholders. This is a temporary unclassified appointment anticipated to last up to one (1) year. This part-time role follows a consistent schedule of approximately 30 hours per week established at the time of hire. Part time shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday. This position is telework eligible. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment. Minimum Qualifications Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. Two years (2) of experience managing projects, including developing project plans, executing project plans, and performing integrated change control to meet customer and agency business needs. Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the followings: Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of tools for performance measurement, and other project management skills. Communication skills sufficient to effectively facilitate process improvement efforts, coach and influence across all levels, present to groups, and transmit written information to a variety of audiences. Coordination skills in organizing work, developing, implementing effective workplans, managing tasks, and handling project assignments. Ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse array of teams and partner agencies. Preferred Qualifications Ability to utilize project management standards (e.g., those outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge – PMBOK). Experience managing grant projects.
